If you thought taking away the headphone jack was the worst that could happen, Apple reportedly plans on eliminating the USB 3.0 and Magsafe on the next generation Macbook.
According to a Japanese rumour site Macotakara that first reported Apple’s plans to kill the headphone jack in the iPhone 7, Apple is not only planning on eliminating the USB and Magsafe ports but is also planning on killing the 11-inch Macbook.
Macotakara also claims the Apple will be introducing a 15.4 and 13.3-inch Macbook Pro.
If Macotakara’s predictions prove accurate, the new Macbooks will only have USB Type-C Thunderbolt 3 ports. With the Magsafe gone the laptop will most likely be charged using the USB-C Thunderbolt and peripherals also will be connected using the Thunderbolt 3.
